A complete ten-day medicine retreat three hours beyond Pucallpa, inside dense, preserved Amazon jungle. Five ceremonies. Authentic dieta. No performance. No spectacle. The work comes first.
The centre sits around three hours outside Pucallpa, surrounded by dense Amazon forest that has not been cleared and rebuilt for visitors. Wildlife is protected here. A huge river, small forest streams and the living jungle form the environment in which the work takes place.
The retreat includes four night ceremonies and one morning ceremony, held by the maestro and facilitated by KAIO Healing.
The work is not treated as five isolated events. Throughout the retreat there is time to understand what is arising, with direct explanation and guidance from the maestro around your process and what you are experiencing.
Every retreat is held as a dieta. In Amazonian plant-medicine traditions, dieta is a period of deliberate simplicity, discipline and reduced stimulation. Food is restricted, ordinary distractions are stripped away, and attention turns toward the body, the plants, the ceremonies and the inner process.
Here, dieta is not used as a fashionable label. It is intentionally simple and can be difficult. You live close to the forest without electricity, eat the food prepared for the dieta, bathe in the stream and sleep in your own private tambo. Longer dietas can also be arranged directly with us.
After your deposit you enter the retreat WhatsApp group, where preparation information, updates, checklists and pre-dieta guidance are shared.
Airport collection, transport to the hotel, your first hotel night and one meal are included.
The following day, transport takes you from the hotel into the jungle centre.
Private tambo, all dieta food, all medicines used during your retreat and five ayahuasca ceremonies are included.
Transport back to Pucallpa, another hotel night and one meal are included after leaving the jungle.
Your final transport from the hotel to the airport is included. From arrival to departure, the journey is taken care of.
Up to three Kambo ceremonies are available as an optional part of the retreat and are included in the price for those who choose and are suitable to receive them.
An optional tobacco purge can be offered on the first day, where appropriate, as part of opening the retreat process.
You stay in a private tambo with your own private jungle toilet. There is no electricity. Bathing is in the stream.
Around you is the forest: wildlife, river, streams, heat, rain, darkness and the constant sound of a living ecosystem. This is not a resort made to resemble the Amazon. You are in the Amazon.
The maestro holds the ceremonies; I facilitate. The work is kept simple. What is taught is lived. The dieta is real rather than ceremonial theatre, the jungle is genuine rather than reconstructed, and there is time to speak deeply about your process.
We offer fixed dates throughout the year. If you already have a group of at least five people, we can arrange dates specifically for you and keep the retreat closed to the public.
Five ayahuasca ceremonies, authentic dieta, private jungle accommodation, medicines, food, Pucallpa hotel stays, meals and all transport described above are included.
